hey friends! when i open a new tab "mystart.incredibar.com/mb139?a=6OyJG6igBW&loc=FF_NTg". page is opened automatically. what i do. please help me........
Which browser you use? >> For Mozilla Firefox >> In Address bar open "About:config". >> type : "browser.newtab.url" >> Change the new tab url from "about:newtab" What ever you show to "about:blank" then exit. Now you will get a default blank page.
My daughter is getting it with Chrome and Babylon. I've deleted using the control panel uninstall and removed the extensions from chrome. I've searched registry and found nothing. I've run Spybot S&D which has found nothing. What I don't get is that Chrome is so configurable but there doesn't appear to be anywhere where we can say "when I open a new tab do this". I've searched and this is a common problem - if only there was a common solution!
I just searched her c: drive for babylon and found 3 entries, was able to delete 1. Rebooted and searched and the other two had gone missing. Started up chrome and got a message that a linkbury extension had been installed (like hell). Clicked new tab, got the babylon affiliate link. Deleted the linkbury extension and hey presto, babylon is history!!! I hope this helps others!!!
Just fix in the setting to "use blank when open a tab" of your browser, it may appear up in various forms but meaning will be same.
