Can Google and Yahoo even think of partnering. Doesn't this raise red flag bells?

What's wrong with partnering? That's like saying "How on earth can a black person date a white person".

They are 2 different companies, maybe they want to partner because they think it's a good idea? :p

This has nothing to do with partnership. This is against all of Americas rules of competition. No competition means they can charge whatever they want. I think their called Bonds or Trust Bonds. Don't remember.:p

not so simple the 2 biggest search engines in the world with a market share of I think nearly 90% of all search engine queries if they are allowed to merge, it will be really bad day for the freedom of the internet.

How can they partner, they are rivals; friendly but still rivals.

well, i don't think that they are rivals, but they are strong competitors. It would not be interesting if they become partners - they will not develop in that case. For the sake of consumers competition is necessary!

I think this won't happen since both of them really had a legacy in the web. Yahoo and Google have their own ways of expressing their services in the web.

I don’t know if they will cooperate in the future but one thing is sure that they will compete each other to the maximum until that day of the partnership will come

I have no idea but i will define about earthquake. An earthquake (also known as a quake, tremor or temblor) is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust that creates seismic waves.
