yeah if i have one of those i'll keep it forever ... i love old stuff like that i found it in wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_VIC-20
I also have a Spectrum+, which I think is a few weeks older than the VIC. One of the prettiest little computers ever made... This is what computers should look like:
As long as my PC does the job I want it to, I don't upgrade, gaming was my big upgrade driver but using a console has killed the requirement
It depends. When we are talking about this, are we talking about properly new computers or are refurbished computers included? I bought a new computer about two years ago. A refurbished one this year.
I have the original Macintosh bought from someone who doesn't know it's value. This one (not actual image) >>
I don't think i'll be selling it though. It's one of my cool collections that I keep in my computer room. I also have an old dell running windows 98. Nothing great about that, more like worthless trash, but it was my first PC that I learned programming on. It still working and the inside of the tower is covered in dust.
My computer has been my close and helpful "friend" in the last 6 years. I had to do some yearly updates and changes but it works great in general. I would not change it yet.
I have an asus and it is way better than my old Sony. The asus has been treking for about 2 years now.
