The Age shouldn't really matter as long as you are working on a comp. with Good specifications. What is your spec?

I have a new computer that I have used for about 3-4 months now. I also bought an used computer to have in the bedroom and stream films and other things from my main PC.
My PC is about 4 years old and it runs well. What I did was to build it upon a motherboard which I can upgrade with newer microprocessors when the need arises. So, I'm not about to buy a new PC. What I will do is just to upgrade the old one I have. But depending on the performance of your PC, you might have to just buy a new one and take advantage of technological developments.
Mine PC is more than 4 years old now with Pentium 4 and still works well for normal things. I brought a new laptop 1 week ago.
My PC is about 6 years old and I am still happy with it! Though it slows down a bit sometimes but my PC is just my PC.
I purchased my desktop pc in December 2006..But i had to replace my harddisk..mY MOTHERBOARD IS INTEL D101GGC with a pentium 4 processor running at a clockspeed of 2.8 Gigahertz..
