how often to submit to google?

    Just for one time only. After that, Google will automatically spider you time to time.

    Just submit your site once. There is no reason to do it more than once.

    Submitting a site to google takes awhile.

    I generally aim at using one of my higher-PR sites and add a link to my new site on it. They get indexed within 24 hours that way.

    I do make it a point to submit sitemaps every few days, because of content and structure changes.
