Jeeez I am in the mood for posting threads today, anyway something I have been meaning to ask and excuse me if it's been asked before and I am sure it has. But how often should I post to my websites, once a day, every other day or what. To be successful what time period do you use with your posting, and again sorry if this has been asked before, cheers all and have a great weekend.
As and when you have new content that is more or less unique to your site. There isn't a fix schedule, just make sure that what you are posting is interesting.
More posts = more content.. and people like content. I try to post everyday with a minimum of twice a day. Obviously things come up and you dont have time to post.. just what I try to do.
I try for once a day as well, do you also post at a certain time because I find posting early morning uk time kills off a lot of American reads.
There are successful webmasters who post about 3-4 times a day and in actual fact, there is no limit to how many you can add to your site. More contents the better it is. However, try to keep up with consistency. It is better to have 6 posts spread evenly between 3 days period rather than 6 posts done in a day and two days without activity.
Once I get about 10 to 15 post on a blog, I start another blog rinse and repeat. But those are the blogs that are just for adsense. If you are blogging for people then the more posts the merrier.
I like that phrase rinse and repeat because it's something I do myself on my Health Blog, nicely put !
Try to write about a variety of topics, this way you know which topics draw more traffic to ur site.... also, keep writing regularly, Google does give a lot of importance to new additions to the website.
