Search Engine has no constant time in indexing a site.

looks like every day, i try to check the cache everyday, and i found that the cache is updated almost every now and then. lot's of pages of my sites are added to cache, and the updated and fresh content is cached! feels like heaven!:D

The rhythm of the indexing is greatly depends on the link popularity and Page Rank of your site.

For your kind information, Googlebots allways crawles your web pages and try to find new information and content into that. Its ofen observed that webpages with new and unique content allways cached and indexed by google very fast then others.

The time intervals for the bots to revisit your site depends on:

    1. Content Freshness
    2. Page Importance

The higher your PR and more often you update your content, the shorter is the tie required for the bots to revisit your site :)

It depends, continuous link building may speed up Google's indexing.

Gotta agree with the others. It depends on your site. I have sites that get nailed by google thousands of times a day and their cache is updated daily, while there are others that get visited once or twice a day and the cache is updated once a week.

Google visits everyday now. If you have too many pages on your site, delete some so Google only indexes your best content. I've also noticed a jump in search engine traffic since deleting all my crappy pages.
