    Hi friends,

I'm very new on this and I have a lot of doubts. I was reading other answers and concluded tah Keyword tag is not very usefull. The best way to increase possition in google and others search engines is put the words in the body of the page, is this correct?
The other doubt I have is, once I upload the modified page with the new keywors or the new body design do I need to re-register the site or goolgle updates this information? How long it takes?

    100 thanks friends

The best way to increase position is to get lots of links from external sites with your keywords as the anchor text.

The more links you have, the more often Google will respider your site.

It's the tried and true way.

Nothing can help like more links. The more links, the more spidering.

Most PR4 sites get updated nightly but don't show up in the cache until 2 days later.

Now: What is PR6, for example? I know PR = Page Rank...but...what is the number? How can I know the PR for my site? This PR change depending of the keywords used to search?

Download and install the Google Toolbar, and it will show you the PR of every page you visit. You will see a little bar in the center of the screen under the word PageRank, and if you hold your mouse of it it will tell you the PageRank of the current;ly displayed page eg "PageRank is Google's measure of the importance of this page (4/10)".

To find out the PR of your own page, just visit it once you have installed the Google Toolbar.

destinodviaje: You can use use the Page Rank Search Results tool "http://www.thinkbling.com/search/" that that returns the same results as Google but displays the PR of each entry; also SEO Chats Page Rank Search "http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/pagerank-search/" which lets returns the same results as google only you can display them ordered by relevant or pagerank.
There also is Prog by WebMaster Brain "http://www.webmasterbrain.com/prog/" but all this tools are down right now.
