How Often Does Google Webmaster Tools Update?

I notice that my "external links" (incoming) bounce around every day.

But, how often does everything else update?
I received about 30 warnings for "Meta description is too short". I fixed some of them about a week ago, others yesterday. When can I expect to see the warnings to go away? Days? Weeks?

Thank you for any input on this.

What are you using to view your incoming links?

Sorry. Google Webmaster Tools. I get different results every day.
But the other items don't seem to get "cleared", after I fix them.

Google webmaster does not show different results everyday. it runs far behind the actual picture of your website running on internet. it takes time to update, normally in 10 days or more, you will notice changes in your external and internal links.

Sorry, but my incoming links change EVERY DAY. As a matter of fact, I am putting the daily changes in an Excel spreadsheet, for later analysis. Mainly, because SOME pages report VERY large daily changes, and I want to know why. Most pages only change by 5-20 backlinks, but a few by 100 or more.

But other things are flaky, as well. For instance, yesterday I had "9 subscribers". This morning, I had zero. This afternoon, it was 9 again.

But thanks for your answer of 10 days. That's what I was wondering.

Actually 10 days is ok, at least you'll be sure that google will take a consideration or explanation about what happened to your site...

Usually Google WMT updates it's data entirely once a month or so, however if you fixed the errors it's not an issues anymore ;)
