my client's site debtcareusa.com shows us on google as a very old title which was like a year ago... i thought it would update automatically. but it does not. if we search 'Debt Care USA" we get the wrong title. if we search "Debtcareusa.com" we have the right thing. can someone help me here. Thanks.
That means its not getting crawled. You should do some link building, specially on high traffic sites. That should help.
Yep, get some link building done in order to look stronger in the eyes of Google and make them crawl your site more often. Also make sure that everything is correct onpage, first and foremost that there's no issues with your meta tags or the robots.txt file. Good luck!
Not quite so weird! They are dmoz listed so Google will likely be showing there dmoz cached info. So client needs to have the noodp meta tag added to pages. Check out the site on http://www.backlinkwatch.com/index.php and you will see there dmoz listing, also some not so great irrelevant backlinks which may also be a factor. I had a SEO client recently I had to part company with as I could not get them to cooperate with me when it came to improving backlinks to more relevant ones. The company did "removals" in the UK but in their backlinks on one site they we're listed on in categories like "pakistani-gigolo-services" and indian-massage-mombai That will work against and not for a site!
Hope it helped - here is the noodp code for you > <meta name="robots" content="noodp" /> Code (markup): Place in <head> here </head> somewhere - as you probably know seeing as it is a meta tag. Let us know if that sorts the problem for your client please OP
i think this would work. http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/google-supports-meta-noodp-tag/ thanks anyways... i will let you know.
Use this > <meta name="robots" content="noodp" /> Code (markup): with the proper closing tag peeps, as Matt Cutts seems to have missed the validating closing / in his code in that link
Out of the many posts, this one attract my attention. I believe it is possible for anyone to participate. _________________ Simulation financement auto achat | Capacite financement automobile occasion | Calcul taux financement credit automobile neuve
Uh - something going on there guys? In regards to Google updating - Take a look here > http://tvworlds.com/forum/online.php I can watch how Googlebot - Yahooo Slurp - MSN/Bing Bots - Ask etc behave so it is safe to say the major search engines are not far off real time unless a particular page/area got flagged badly. It's not difficult to get a page one result on any of the SE's in a very short period these days, as they seem to update regularly for me. PR doesn't ime (in my experience - though who cares!?!?) matter though! A page one result in a day if it is deserved is easy! It also may not get a couple of weeks loss if really deserved and beneficial to most people using a search term query finding the perfect result.
