After changing your site, what are the activities you have done for your site? Social bookmarking sites are perfect for fast indexing of your pages and content. It is your key for your site to be re-index.

For me, it took less than a week for my page to get index by Google.

Usually Google come every few weeks to index your website, but if Google´s crawlers understand that your are updating your website more often, then it will visit your site earlier than before. Sometime you have to let Google crawlers know that you have created new contents. It is only possible when you submit your pages to social networks such as digg.com.
