How often does Google update via dmoz?

    Hey guys. Last time I was wondering when the DMOZ updated, but now that I've been listed there (just today, in fact) I'm wondering how often Google updates their index via the DMOZ's listings. I'm trying to gauge how long my wait is to be indexed and put in Google.

    it just updated recently. Prior to the latest update, it was about seven months inbetween.

    Is it that you weren't indexed in Google? You can submit your site directly at google.com/addurl.html (sorry, I can't have links yet - only 8 posts).

    Not even close to being true. Its been running close to monthly lately, or a little bit over. You only have to check back in this form to see when threads start when it updates. The only time there has been a seven month delay between updates was way back in mid 2003 !!!!

    Its been updated 4 times since January.
    Aprrox dates (depends on server) have been Jan 10; Feb 4; early March and mid May.

    no way. Show me some threads to prove this. From my knowledge it was just updated... I could be wrong, just show me otherwise.
