How often does google update my site info??

    I changed my meta name description and Im wondering when google will change it when my site is displayed in a google search. Also, if i type in my domain name into a google search, should I be able to see all the shtml links listed that google has found? So far I only see the domain name itself, not the other pages as well.
    This is a new site that was submitted to google a few days ago. i have also submitted a sitemap.

    That all depends when ever it crawls it. Once it crawls the same page again it should updated on search engines within a day or two from my experience. But cache is updated when it wants to. I've had pages crawled maybe times but the cache doesn't an update until about 5 days or more later.

    If you are using Google's Webmaster Tools, you could check this out under their "Diagnostic" tab using the "Summary" link. You can also see some quick stats on your sitemap health by looking under the "Sitemaps" tab.
