How often does Google update backlinks?

    Hi all,

    First post! :)

    I've created hundreds of backlinks to my site over the past couple of weeks but when I do link: in Google there is only one link there! How often does Google update backlinks? Is it only when part of a major update?

    it does that every quater of an year. last was arount march end. still long way too go for the next

    so that would mean that if you were to buy a PR10 link for U$500 for the next 2 months, you would be completely throwing away U$1000, as when google updates the backlinks, your side will be already gone ??
