How often does Google spider and update?

I change content on my site almost daily
I've noticed i get hits for key words/phrases that are no longer there!
Should i archive that content? have like an 'older postings' page?

i'm googled up with sitemaps, adsense, and analytics, so they KNOW i'm there.

    Any suggestions appreciated

Not sure if I understood you correctly....

but the rule of thumb is that googlebot visit your site often if you update the content more often.

It would be a good idea to have an archive section because as you add to the archive your site would get larger. larger sites are goiod for SEO.

Try re generate and re submitting your sitemap every time you update yoursite

You must re generate the sitemap, or else, this would be a wasted effort, plus the sitemap software should show the "last modified" date
