How often does Google crawls your website?

Folks I am interested in knowing like how often Google bot crawls your site......in the month of December my site was crawled on 1st then it was on 19th.....its evident that my site is not crawled so often.What are the factors does this depend on?

And can you also share how often is your site crawled...

1.Daily
2.Thrice a Week
3.Twice a Week
4.Once a Week
5.Once in two weeks
6.once in a month.

My main site, English Premier League site in my sig gets crawled daily. I update it with unique content every day so i'm guessing that plays a part in it being crawled daily, whereas another site I own, gets updated 3 or 4 times a month and is crawled once a week.

 

If the bot finds new content everytime it crawls, the frequency picks up over time.

 

i own a large forum with tons of quality backlinks, google and yahoo slurp live there and msnbot is just popping in for a brew once in a while.

 

I have a few blogs and in my blogspot blogs Google seems to visit once a week or so. I just started a wordpress blog a couple of weeks ago and it gets a visit daily. Every post page has been indexed.

 

Google is at my site constantly, indexing and reindexing about 500-1,000 pages or more per day.

 

Stuff on my blog gets indexed within a couple hours.

 

My sites are usually visited within the day. Sometimes in a couple of hours.

 

Googlebot never really leaves. I watch googlebot closely.

 

Googlebot visits my main site almost daily, even though i hardly add any content, but it is quite famous in the niche which is very frequently visited by students

All other websites of mine gets a google visit once in few days, may be 3-6 days

Yahoo and msn-well i dont bother about them

 

My site has been banned by google, for about 3 months.. `blackhat SEO.. and yes I learned my lesson`..

and now its back on google, with a daily indexing and crawling. sitemaps are helping alot in the process. and the fact its a dynamic website, so content is changing always.

 

Googlebot is always on my site. I dont know what it is searching for.. since there isn't a lot of content updating.

 

It never leaves.
So does Yahoo bot.
The only one that comes in randomly is Microsoft bot.

 

Depindes on how often you update your website with content !

One directory I own hardly gets crawled, but google/yahoo bots are crawling my gaming forum 24/7 !

 

Daily for content and also could be due to digg articles of mine.

 

I'm not able to get the digg love, but google is on my best site a few times a day.

 

The bot visits as often as necessary - it will live full time on a busy forum, and may only visit a very static site once a month. And for the average site - somewhere in between

 

According to Google Wemaster tools, googlebot crawls my site about twice a week, but according to my webstats, its a couple of times a day.

 

Crawls every 2 days, for my movie related site

 

My site is crawled once a week.
