How often do you use estibot.com?

I would like to know how reliable is estibot.com for appraisals. Some of the prices it give me seems to good to be true, but I know that some people swear by estibot and try to sell their domains at the price that it gives them. What is your take on estibot?

 

Never. Not accurate IMO.

 

Estibot is great for a laugh.

People don't actually swear by estibot. They use estibot to back them up when they know they're completely full of shit.

Correction.... not some of the prices, in fact most of the times... the prices it gives are too good to be true! The appraisals done by them can at best be used... for self-contentment only!

i got quoted $450 for LLLL.NET domain , way over priced!

 

I sold my domain for $XX which is appraised by estibot $0... It's only bot anyway

estibot is much better than some other appraisal system I have seen
estibot is a good start to value a name
It does some thing that you would do manually any way - e.g check if other TLDs registered, check keyword popularity and bids, etc
AS for price - it is *appraisal* right?

What might be of no value to one person may be of great value to another.

 

Every time i appraise a domain i get $20, i'm sure my domains worth more than that expl: the one i have on my signature.. all the appraisal scripts are a crap.

 

Estibot is a joke. Do not use it as an argument when trying to sell a domain.
