    How often does a blog need to be updated for you to return to it?

    Ideally I would like to update once a day. In reality it is most every day.

    I would like to be updating it at least twice a day but recently it has been my birthday etc. so haven't been able to update it.

    For good return, you need to update it once a day at least.
    But you also need to link with other blogs.

    It takes a bit of time b4 you are noticed so you need patience.

    I update it once in two days or so...some kind of college exams running here, so couldn't raise the frequency..bt hope to catch twice or thrice a days soon...

    3-4 times per week can be sufficient if your blog contains relevant information, lots of links, and a decent amount of traffic. One of my auto blogs is PR4 and I only update it a few times per week.
