How often do you suggest to ping my blog when posting on a daily basis?

I would like to know how often you suggest to ping (places like Pingoat, Ping-o-matic, etc.) my blog when I post on a dialy basis?

I never ping because I use Technorati. Technorati checks your blog for new content every 30 mins so there's no need to ping it unless you really want to.

 

After every new post is a good idea i believe.

 

With wordpress it pings automatically, but you can add a list of ping sites within the admin area and it'll automatically ping all of the sites.

 

which sites would you guys suggest to ping? besides default of course...

 

I use Ping-o-matic for fast and easy pinging. With Ping-o-matic, you can ping My Yahoo, Weblog, Technorati, etc. all at once.

I suggest that you keep posting on a daily basis and ping every time you post something new. Signing up with technorati is also a good idea. I do that myself. Technorati allows us to specify our own keywords, and the pinging is fast and effective. Your blog will get indexed right away.
