How often do you submit?

    Hello

Once you have gone through a list of free directories. How often do you go back and resubmit you info. Is it one submission and you are done or do you go back once a week or month and redo everything. Also with paid submissions would the samething apply. Or is that a pay once submit once depending on the terms of payment?

    Thank you

    Peace Tom

Why should anyone waste time by resubmitting? If the directory rejects a site once, it means the site doesn't meet the quality standards. Unless I have made some major improvements in the site, I would not resubmit it.

There are hundreds of new directories coming up every month. I would prefer to submit to these as the chances of acceptance are greater with new directories.

    Yeah. :)

Moreover when we personally don't submit to directories and the directory submission service providers do the submission work for us. We just have to rely on admin's approval of our links that were submitted.

Most of the times I don't even know in which directories my links are being submitted. Even after 12 months the webmaster doesn't gets a chance to see if his link is there or not.

In my case whenever I tell my link builders to make links for me. I only rely on the emails that some directories send out on the time of submission.

For 2 or 3 days I get 100's of emails and I select them all and delete them :D

    Directory Submission Done :D

Now its time for a link bait or an article campaign.

Theres no point in re-submitting if you havnt done any changes on your site . There are a lot of directories available so move on to the next if one rejects you < though its better to read the terms to avoid rejections >

I would definitely not resubmit if my site is rejected since directories owners might take some action against your site and post on forums that this guy is spammer etc..

    I guess once you're in, you're in.
    I don't think you have to re-submit...

Well , if it's rejected becouse it's not in the right category then I might re-submit and add it in the right category but most directories move it by themselves.

Well, most directories owner(Paid) moves site to best category themselves instead of simply rejecting site ;)

yes you are correct but some free directory owners will reject submissions if the user did not choose the correct category

With the multitude of free directories out there, it's hardly worth your time to resubmit to those who reject you. There are plenty more out there. Just keep pressing forward.
