How often do you submit to article directories?

How often do you submit to article directories, and have you paid others to write the articles for you?

I’ve only done this a few times, and am wondering how often I should be doing this, and if I should be doing this myself (not a good writer) or paying someone to do it for me.

    Thanks

I haven't done any article submissions yet, but I plan on submitting one to Ezinearticles as an experiment.

Yeah. It works great. So just keep writing at least one highly informative, insightful article a day and submit to ezinearticles.

Its a very good idea to write articles and spread it over internet for getting traffic and backlinks.

I write and hire people to write articles for me. I submit 2 articles per week at least.

I submit to ezinearticles.com and isnare.com. The last one submit for article to 30k publisher on the internet. Good for back links.

ezinearticles.com brings me around 50 uniques visitors per month. They are excellent visitor since they are targetted ones.

I started out writing my own articles but then when my money got up to speed and I ran out of ideas then I started outsourcing. I went to getafreelancer and found a really good writer.

I am a platinum author in Ezinearticles and I am the authority in my niche oh and top 100 author as well....And let me tell you writing articles and submitting to ezinearticles is one of the best things that you can do for your business......

Wow.. this certainly turned into a plug thread :)

To answer the original question, I would say submit as often as you can when you have something unique and of good quality. If you have control over the articles and can submit them yourself, then that's the way to go - but there's nothing wrong with outsourcing as long as you monitor the quality of the output.

How often to submit your article?

If you place the article on your own site. Wait until it is in the google index. It is cached.

Only then submit it to the article sites with your back link. Dont have a back link to your home page have the back link direct to the page on your site the article is posted on.

This helps you secure that yours is the original article and you were first and all links point to you - right to the article.

So when to submit or how often?

When your article on your site is indexed and not before.

Does anyone use the article submission services? The last article that I submitted I used a service that submitted it to 200 article sites. Was this a good idea?

The only one that brings in any traffic is ezinearticle. But I was told that the backlinks we're what I was really after. And it does appear to have helped. I used 3 anchor text. One now is in the 1st page of google, and the other 2 are on the second page near the top.

As many times as you possibly can submit submit and then submit

whenever you get an idea for an article write it and submit it.

I pay people to submit for me I also use an semi automated auto submitter

I think "quality" is the top question, not (only) quantity. I have to admit I am quite good at my job (IT logging/auditing) and I have submited some articles to high profile sites over the past years. Not much of them, but all with great content. And, of course, I have left links to some other of my pages in them. Some of these articles even no longer bear my name.

Besides boosting the PR, they have turned out to be a major traffic source for my site - and a constant one, too.

at least 1 article a day and then submit that to ezinearticles.

Sometimes I write a few more and then use them on goarticles or articledashboard, but thats only if I am feeling enthusiastic about my writing.

Ezinearticles is definitely the best. I haven't paid anyone to wrtite for me yet, but it's just a matter of time.

Just go with EzineArticles and you will find it easier to stick to it. When you try submitting to 10-20 different article sites you will just get burned out.

Article writing is one of those things were you will start out fast, but if you do not pace yourself you will just get bored and burned out with it. Trying to write a "quality" article takes time. There is no point in submitting garbage to an article site because no one is going to post it.

IMO best to use the articles for your own blog/site.

Article submit works for some niches, but not for all so you should experiment.
