How Often Do You Social Bookmark for SEO\Traffic Purposes?

How often do you guys submit your site\blog\URL to social bookmarking sites? It is a one shot deal or do you do it monthly, quarterly, etc?

I just put up a new blog this week and I am having it submitted to 100 social bookmarking sites. I am wondering if I do social bookmarking just once or periodically or the life of the web site.

I bookmark every time I post a new content on my blog..

 

I bookmark everytime I put up new content and bookmark all of the article I submit to article directories after they are approved.

 

I do it every single time a new article comes out on my website. Thers so many scripts out there to automate everything for you tho ... U can take a look @ Ping.fm if you don't wanna play with scripts

 

I bookmark my blog entries on different sb sites as well pinging them. I randomly bookmark section and pages from website as well to get deep ones indexed.

I only use social bookmarking to 'get social' with content, it gives people the option to share the content easier if they think it is of value

fOR FIRST TIME ITS oK TO BOOKMARK, TO build links and to force google to recognize you. But for each and every time its painful.
There is no use bookmarking your websites again and again until and unless your content is good and you believe it will make it to the home page. a lot of your content slips down in the upcoming section area and never generates any traffic for you.

imagine the effort and time you give in bookmarking , if you have used it in writing great articles, people would have automatically linked you ...

I haven't noticed any traffic coming from book marking, I use just for climbing pages. I submit articles linking back to my site and then book mark each one. You can also do like LauraSmith and create multiple accounts then book mark the with each of them.
