How often do you scan your computer?

How many times a month do you initiate a anti-virus scan on your computer?

For me, I usually scan about 6-7 times per month.

 

I scan mine whenever norton tells me to ( once a week )

 

Paranoid much? I scan twice a month full scan course I do not visit sites where there is a chance of anything happening.

 

I don't even have an anti-virus, lol. They all annoy the hell out of me. I never had problems though.

But I have an external backup drive, and I sync that once in a while.

 

Same here,auto scan once a week.

 

Everyday I have it on automatic scan... my brother sometimes uses the computer, that is the main reason why I scan everyday.

 

Nah. I just have way too much important stuff on my computer. Someone getting into it again will cause immense damage to me.

Just scanned 2 hours ago: 5 new viruses plus some spyware!

never , my anti virus automatically scan if it find some thing suspected

I have not scanned my computer for more than year, i often format some months. I dont like any anti virus, as its RAM consuming. If you know how the virus/trojans works, i dont think you need any anti virus to keep you safe from it. I have never had any problems on my comp for years, without any antivirus. But it is recommended to everyone.
