I was complaining in another thread about google ads not being contextual but someone said that if you don't clear cookies they won't be - ie the ads will conform to the cookies not the content. Given that cookies have a lifespan is this really an issue? I don't clear my cookies that often but I've done a quick survey and a couple of the five people I've spoken to have never ever cleared their cookies - do you think that 40% of computer users might be neglecting to clear their cookies too? DO you clear yours?
Does that have anything to do with the cookies? I doubt it. Usually I don't clear my cookies, maybe a couple of times a year.
I try and clear my cookies a couple times a month.. I know it doesn't do to much but sometimes it's better to just do it.. So I try and do it a couple times a month.
you can not make the visitors of your adsense site clear cookies before they visit it. Average user never clears browser cookies.
Well, there is no need to clear cookies. Google is also interested in making money so they know when to display contextual ad and when to display ad according to visitor's past searches.
I don't clear adsense cookies. Don't worry about adsense's job. Your only job is to get more and more traffic to generate more ad impressions.
