Hey everyone, quick question. How often do you post on your blog, and if you do it regularly, do you make sure that you have regular intervals or even a set date where you post information? I am finding that it becomes a chore if I have to keep posting every other week, so I sometimes allow myself a little break but I am wondering what other people think. _________ Anyone have experience with http://www.workexaminer.com ?
At least once per week....of course I slip up every once in awhile. My blog also posts that days post to my Facebook fan page so I get 2 posts for the price of one. In addition, I try to post more often on my FB fan page because those are really just short snippets.
I try to post two or three times a week for a blog or site that I really want to move out quickly. Weekly if it's established. In order to keep it more flowing and regular, i use the Wordpress scheduler. When I feel like writing for my own sites or if I order them from colleagues, I do two or three at a time and then pre-schedule them so that they auto publish an evergreen topic.. then if new news comes out that I think would be interesting, I write another one and just add an extra that week.
I post everyday, sometimes multiple times per day. I set aside one day each week to write out blog posts for 1-2 weeks and then schedule them in to post. Then, as they go live all I have to do is promote them on social media.
I would think twice a week would be ideal. You can post as often as you'd like but do yourself a favor and only write quality articles that people will want to read.
It depends on what type of blog it is. If it's a news type site or celebrity or similar, it'd be about 10 times a day, if it's a knitting blog prob once or twice a month (don't hate me knitters just saying that it wouldn't need to be updated very often in order to stay current!) If it's a new blog, you might want to get as much stuff on there as possible in a short amount of time and so be posting every day and then to once a week or whatever. E.G. My new blog is going to be two posts on my blog a week and a guest post a week to build traction for a launch. Then prob one a week of each or twice monthly. As I say, it depends on the industry and niche and how much your readers want to read your stuff. Survey them and find out. You can use Google docs.
Whenever I have something to say. For my money blogs, I like to have at least 10 articles to drip feed every 2 or 3 days al
With the business blogs I try to post once a week and generally on the same day every week (of course there is usually a little slip up here of there). Consistency is just as important as the quality of information you are delivering. If you can only put out enough regular, quality info every week, stick to every other or something like the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.
I post every day by way of schedule If you are using wordpres you can use the plugin "Drafts Scheduler"
as much as possible release a fresh blog at least once a week and then share the content on social media. this cant be too much of a chore if they can be scheduled
Its solely depends on the niche you are in and the information you have. I post typically once per week.
Ideally one post per week is great. Again it will depend on the niche of your blog. Its is a showbiz blog then better to update it everyday for fresh and hot news. Hope it helps.
Like the previous poster suggested, posting once per week really is great. Again though, it's better to write about something one can actually talk about and not just write for the sake of putting up content.
Nothing is more important than having up some good and gold content. If you can get it up daily do it, if you are a busy person hire someone. Content keeps the system up and that's why engines wants more and more quality.
It actually depends on YOU. How frequently do you have anything to say? Whatever you are saying, is that meaningful and useful enough? Who are your audiences? What do they need? How frequently can you afford posting? ...All these go into deciding how frequently you post blogs.
