For me i often believe on what i watched if i what a unique story and amazing reality story of the movie that i watched for..
I often believe what I see, but I always know that it might not the the full story and that some things are left out or exaggerated just to make it sound better/worse than it is.
After i watch something i research it and try to uncover the full story behind it, and then see how different reality is from the film shown, or what i've seen.
So whenever you turn on the TV/internet you research everything? I Highly doubt it. But it also depends on how often you watch things.

Of cos not. Only 5 years old believe what they watch. I remember as I kid, I watched movie where an actor dies at end. Then later watched another movie where that actor is alive and well. Could not reconcile why the actor died and then still live.
What's the aim to believe in the thing which is just a commercial product and due to it they trying to earn money. Sure there is no truth out there on tv and reality shows, and even you can turn the news and it looks like a movie - lie is everywhere!
