How often do we update Wordpress blog content?

Hello,

I have a few wordpress blogs that I can content relates to my site. Some of the pages are not indexed very well on Google.

How often do we update Wordpress blog content?
Where do I submit my blog pages to get indexed faster?

If you submit at least one publication per day (and do it every day) you will get indexed fast. Of Course the more publications you have the better (I assume unique content).

 

I update daily fresh content...its the key to get index fast and i ping them and do a social bookmarking through onlywire..I am getting indexed fast

 

You don`t have to ping nothing. If you update your content daily Google will visit your site often enough

 

I guess by now you know to update daily. Getting indexed is as easy as getting a link from another site that is being crawled by google.

 

WordPress automatically pings content for you as you publish it. Don't go crazy with content, as you don't want to appear spammy. Take it easy with a pace you're comfortable with, that you feel is best suited to your visitors.

Also setup Google XML Sitemap Generator (for WordPress). This provides an XML based outline of your site for search engines. While this won't help you get indexed, it will help point the way to your interior pages.

for me sometime i update my content 2 or 3 per days
but regulary once per day
it depend on my mood

 

You can opt to update daily if you got lots to say or post 2-5 blog posts a day if you are saving a batch of blog posts. I find wordpress blogs easy to get indexed. Same as my youtube videos which are indexed in less than 30 minutes.

 

It is better you update the content in the beginning of your blog's life, not after a long inactive time.

However if you start again updating each week, you can try to fix your situation.

 

If you can keep up the pace for an extended period then once a day is fine. I find that three times a week (mon, wed, fri) is much more manageable. Also, if you haven't already you want to have between 5-10 posts in draft so you're always ahead. Anything can happen that will make you unable to post for a while so a month's worth of posts in draft can keep your blog from looking like it died suddenly.

Updating blog once or twice a week is good. When you create new blog post, it's good to submit it to social bookmarking sites to index it faster.

 

If you get more backlinks you will give Google a reason to revisit your site and index more of the content.

 

Consistency matters. atleast a post per day. and also use Sitemap. Use Google web master tools, and also make your website clean and easy navigation-able. this will help Google to index faster.

 

Depending on how much useful information you have, the higher frequency of updating will attract the bot more often.

I would prefer daily update personally. It is fit for most websites unless it is a news website. The more important is how unique and useful of the contents itself. If you have your website updated 3-5 times a day but most of them are scraped contents then it would be useless for both search engine and visitors.

 

Yeah I'd prefer one update per day.
And one more thing, it is better to post one article a day for 7 days than to post 7 articles every Sunday
Keeps your blog fresh.
