How often do I need to submit my site to the major search engines?

    How often do I need to submit my site to the major search engines? I keep seeing ads that promise to submit my website to thousands of search engines each month for around $20. Is it worth it?

    These ads are spam. The major engines will automatically find new content without re-submitting.

    No need to sumit to SE's they spider and will find you with a simple link somewhere :)

    Don't do that. It will make bad reputation to your website in search engine

    You just need to submit your website once into search engine. Submit it just to the big major search engines, like Google, yahoo and Bing then other search engines will follow it. You can also submit it one by one to every search engine, but don't use automatic service, because you will get nothing.
