How often Blog should be updated for better traffic.

Hi Guys,

Thanks a log to for your responses on previous posts.

I have a blog on my website, as I am new to internet marketing -- I don't know how often I should update by blog for better traffic. At the moment I am adding new articles to it daily and sometimes even two times a day.

Please tell me How often I should update blog and what if I post two articles daily on it once 6 morning US time and second time when its 6 morning in China.

You can never post enough as long as its quality content. I think its best to post only once at a time a day because you dont want to bury your quality articles down below. Traffic comes with a combination of quality content and marketing. So yeah blog once a day if thats your aim. If you blog more than once a day, make sure your readers know that your blog more than once so that they can go and find your posts. Good luck

 

Updating your blog with fresh content would be ok. It doesn't matter how many content do you post as long as it is interesting and useful.

What I am doing at the moment is -- I post two articles daily on my blog and post the same blog on about 50 social bookmarking websites and I do the same thing daily....is it okay? Or Google can take it is massive marketing....?

 

And what should be done to make sure that visitors often come to read your post?

 

by being the best in your field. ask yourself the question " is this useful to my readers ". If you post good content they'll return and might even tell a friend.
Make sure you use the sharethis / tellafriend plugin.

nothing wrong with the bookmarking technique. the more links back to your site the better.

I use to keep it updated once per day, though I sometimes publish more than that. As long as the content is unique and in high-quality, the number is not a problem.

I would advice you to update you blog atlease twice a day with good quality content.
Only this would bring you good traffic.

I'd say as often as you have good quality content. Posting poor content just for the sake of it isn't a good idea.

It should be like Once in a week atleast to update your visitors with new content and information. Just make sure to include some good interesting and useful information in your post to get good traffic and try to do social bookmarking for it.

Do a little research before writing about anything, it will help you gaining more keywords / phrases to include in your post.

 

Always I say Go for quality not for quantity. Quality content always bring your old visitor back and automatically your traffic will increase. I think everyone know that "Bees attract Bees".

 

Doing the same everyday, I have increased traffic from 10 t0 100 visitors everyday.

 

The amount of submission doesn't effect of the content If they are dupe content. But if it's not dupe then post as many as you can the content amount is not important. In fact in the future the more content the more static traffic drives in to your blog. The pinging is also important
