How often GOOGLE updates google webmaster tool internal and internal links.

Is it possible to push google to crowd my internal and external links. (webmaster tools links)

They update every few weeks I think. There is nothing you can do to change it other than use Yahoo to check links instead. Yahoo is far more accurate (its what we are using for the new link tracker launched last week).

Vanessa Fox said the results you see are one week old, but not sure that its 100% accurate, atleast for me.

Yes, it has been at least 3 weeks since the stats from my sites have been updated, so don't hold your breath for them to change them :)

Google is not very accurate for me. It's stats are completely different from any other monitoring programs or tools that I have.

Awstats will show 500 uniques, and 7000 page views, and Google will show 14 visitors, and 16 page views. Which is impossible if I have 50 RSS subscribers on the day, and 20 people leave comments or fill out the contact form.

I don't see what the big "Whoop" is with Googles tools.

Awstats counts every page, even those that are not visible from a browsing perspective (like the robots.txt, sitemap.xml or those used for site administration, such as the osCommerce admin page). I find that awstats and google analytics come very close to giving the same results, and google is far more accurate with regards to visitor location and such.

As for as google webmaster tools, that individual tool sucks. About the only thing I find useful is knowing the last time google crawled the entire site. Even then, that date is one week old. If google can have the analytics updated daily, why can't it do the same for the webmaster tools?

Google Analytics is the most accurate in terms of real traffic and can do a lot more than most people think. Awstats counts spiders and things as well.

If you want to know more about Google Analytics I just hit the Digg front page with my advanced google analytics tutorial.

I have worked on a link building campaign for about 3 weeks and the Google Webmaster Tool has only updated the page rank, but not the incoming links (but the links have been created). I would think the internal links are updated every month, but not 100% sure... I should be able to confirm by the end of the week.

Yahoo is much better to quantify the number of links, but Google Webmaster tool is quite useful to know the most common anchor text from incoming links. I find it useful as a reference for 'quality SEO'.

He's not debating its accuracy, he (she?) just wants to know how often the info is updated. I think it takes a couple of weeks to a couple of months. Or at least, they're only showing results like that.
