    I currently have a site that I have optimalized for 10 keywords.

    With all 10, I am in the top 30 of MSN.com and GOOGLE.com

    But I cannot be found in my own local MSN.nl and GOOGLE.nl

    I currently have sitemaps and google sitemaps.

    My META tag for language is

    <meta name="language" content="nl" />
    Code (markup):
    What can I do to get listed in the .NL sites?

    I run a couple of dutch language sites too.
    Is your site in English and in dutch ?
    Do you have backlinks from dutch sites ?
    Maybe the keywords you optimized for are very competitive and you are sandboxed. I have a rss newssite and a cooking site. Optimizing for the cooking site was a lot easier than for the news site.
    Keywords like "recepten, receptensite, koken, kookboek, etc .." are a lot less competitive than "nieuws, regionaal nieuws, nieuwsheadlines, etc ..."

    I think so.. you should have lots of inbound links from dutch websites.

    You mean "pagina's in het Nederlandspagina's" or "uit Nederland". to be high in first, you need more dutch inbound links than links in english pages. To the second, is only possible if your site is hosted in Nederlands or it's under a .nl domain.

    Where is the site hosted and what is the domain extension?

    These factors will have a massive influence.

    Move the physical location of the site...
    Buy a localised domain...
