How my tags can be indexed

Dear All
any one can give the suggestion how my tags can be indexed by google
currently, it's only the posts that have been indexed. it would be great if tags as well
appreciate for your help

if tags are maximum used in your contents and also available in title, develop links by hyping on your maximum tags although long tail.

 

i cant understand that what the tag indexing is all about? plz explain

 

you can check your site on google and see how many posts have been indexed by google. beside indexing your posts, actually your tags have been created can be indexed as well. I have done many way to get this result but get nothing
it is great to have this result. your site could have thousands page indexed by google

I think basically its help as keyword

 

it depends on the way you promote your site,tags can appear on google when you work hard on building links. it doesn't necessarily means that your tag will come up as soon as your site get indexed,you must still have to work on link building and optimization by targeting your niche with the used of your kws.

Generally speaking, tags would not be indexed well since Google or other engines would like contextual links more. So, using your targeted keywords in your links within your post contents would be better.

Do following,

On-Page Optimization - title tags, meta tags, description, keywords, content, alt attributes, robots.txt, h1/h2 tags and sitemap.

Off-Page Optimization - article submission, blog commenting, forum posting, classified ads, press release, online group posting, link exchange, social bookmarking, hub page, link wheel and squidoo are just some of them.

these are what I have done and when I checked back, in my robots.txt is all disallow. so I remove it now
looking at your suggestion seem I already done and now I can see my traffic increase significant but still have low indexing pages especially tags

hope any can give more details suggestion like detail off page optimization, seo pluggin etc

targeted keyword is my priority now and I can see the result it on my traffic
however I can see that more tags indexed by search engine, more traffic will come, I can compare it with my competitor and tags which indexed can help it. I guess

 

i think it depend on how much your tag getting used

 

I couldn't agree more. People tend to spam the meta tags so Google has been generous to us and decided not to give that much importance to them.

 

Recently on one of my blogs, I noticed that there were a good number of pages indexed by Google and there were quite a few tags as well in the list of crawled pages. Then one day the number of indexed pages by Google started reducing and I noticed that the tag pages earlier crawled and indexed by Google gradually started to reduce. So, I think that the pages created by tags is eventually discarded over a period of time...

 

There is not authentic value I have found. I think Google index all the tags but the simple trick of tagging I always follow is that put your most important tags in the start, if Google neglect some of them then your important tags will be safe.

 

its it true? I am just wonder if any correlation between more tags indexed and the total UV. my site competitor has huge traffic and the different among us is they have more tags indexed than mine
it has been few months and I can see the tags are still there (my competitor) so not sure if google will reduce it in the future
