Yeh, definitely. When I write content, I try to think "what would I have wanted to know 5 (or 10) years ago when I was just starting with this type of stuff". There's plenty of more beginners than pros out there (here).

I suppose "it depends". I agree that CPA type of stuff probably works better when you have something to sell, otherwise it's not perhaps the first thing to do...

First of all, thanks guys for the comments. I'm glad you've liked the tips.

I think one key thing that some people might be missing is focusing too much on the "getting traffic" part. I realize that you probably won't get traffic if you don't put effort into marketing, but on the other hand... you will get traffic when you provide something valuable to your readers.

I suppose it's the good ol' 'content is the king' statement holds true.

Yes, thanks a lot for some solid info. I'll read through it again, but I thought the updating the blog on a daily basis is a great tip, and one of my own worst weaknesses. I have no doubt if I can somehow manage it - I have three blogs in a related niche - I'll see a pretty decent jump in traffic. Thanks again, and good luck!

Instead of updating all three blogs... how about updating (concentrating) on just one?

 

It makes sense, seeing that they aren't equal in terms of market size and conversion to profit. Maybe I'll try something like a 60-20-20 split.

 

It is better to make 6 blogs relating to your website... i.e, 3 in blogspot.com and 3 in wordpress.com...... So that will index soon...

 

Useful but still very basic setting a goal is obvious unless your an idiot. that's a gimme being original in your market is another big one to work on. How long did it takes to get the drastic increase in traffic

It shows that dedication and an interest in your niche can work wonders! I do think a small adsense bar at the top could make you some decent money without annoying readers ;-)
