Heck, non-Muslims aren't even allowed to die in Saudi Arabia. If they do, their bodies are shipped overseas because foreigners are considered too dirty to bury in Islamic soil. The Saudi's beat their imported domestic help so badly that the Philippine government had to set up a shelter for battered Philippino women in Jeddah.
Yes, one of my friend's pop died and his body was shipped to India (it took a month to arrive) Gentlemen, what are our options? I do not believe in the turn-your-other-cheek philosophy, I encourage the tit for tat option. So I think Muslims dying in Christian countries should be shipped to their respective Islamic country origin. Just in case they are fourth or fifth generation Muslims in Western land, then they must be shipped to and buried in Saudi, the holiest land of the Muslims.
That video was awesome, so I did a wee bit of research. The guy in the video is Pat Condell. I'm surprised, almost amazed, that I haven't heard of this guy before. I just watched one of his anti-American anti-Christian rants and I laughed so hard I almost stopped breathing. His web site says "Hi, I'm Pat Condell. I don't respect your beliefs and I don't care if you're offended. Cheers." How wonderfully British! Here's Pat's YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/patcondell
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1ZLXbKeL2U&feature=related The guy has an opinion, muslims should respect it The video above explains it...
Hmm.. Pity.. I didn't expect this much racialism here.. Especially from that guy with some 25000 posts in the first page. Well.. to each one their veiws..
The problem is, Islamic countries are the worst when it comes to dealing with non-believers and people following other religions. But still, Moslems all over the world try to score brownie points by often whining about how they are treated in other countries. In fact, they are better off living in first world countries and some tolerant countries like India than living in Islamic countries which have Shariah law in place.
US is a christian country and you cant change that , the same goes in the middle east which is opposite
Everything changes. There was a time before either Christianity or Islam even existed. Eventually these old gods will be replaced with new gods. Then people will claim that the new gods can't be changed.
I beg to differ we are not a 'christian' country. Our population might be a majority Christian, that however does not make the country 'Christian'
yes you come from poverty stricken muslim countries to come to the US and to make money and nothing else. talking about driving fancy shit cars
Not exactly "nothing" else. Read about how the nice immigrants in Canada used the hospitality of their host in The Terrorist Within. Am I the only one who finds it ridiculously offensive that Muslim immigrants flee their own horrible countries -- only to come to the civilized world and try to change our countries to be just like theirs? Where will they flee after they have destroyed our countries by turning them into hellholes like the Islamist states they just ran away from?
That more than likely is the root cause of all the grief we keep having. I'm not saying, "be Christian", however, if more people in the US would adopt Christian principles, be a bit more patient, accepting, and helpful, rather than belligerent, ungrateful and pessimistic, would that really be so bad?
I don't think that it would help so much -- the Islamists hate Christians almost as much as they hate Atheists. Worse, Christians would probably keep whining about how we should "turn the other cheek" after every terrorist attack.
I agree. Most Christians I know don't actually demonstrate the values that Jesus seemed to stand for. And if we did demonstrate/exercise the values that Jesus stood for as a nation, we'd be getting our ass whipped left and right.
You're probably right. It depends on the Christian. You'd be surprised how easy it is to rile up a Christian... I've seen some people who proclaim to be holier than though, go completely balls to the wall insanely violent if provoked properly. You do mention a strange irony here though Will. The majority of those out there that hate the hell out of Christians tend to be Christians themselves. Its all part of this self-loathing, WASP induced guilt that plagues our overly PC "I'm sorry I'm American" society. I think it all started with the Dixie Dykes pretending to be embarrassed they were Americans to gain sympathy for a cause they were too ashamed to admit they felt they should embrace. I find it hard to respect people who adhere to a philosophy of assuming guilt for the faults of others. There's no integrity in that.
Jesus was a hippie. It's that damned politically correct moral relativism again. An entire generation has been brought up to believe the lie that there is no right and wrong. Without right and wrong you cannot make value judgments. You cannot say that raping and murdering children is wrong and that helping an old lady across the street is right. You can't say that stoning homosexuals to death is wrong, because you might offend someones beliefs and hey -- aren't their beliefs as equally valid as your own? It's a pile of horse manure.
I think God made man. Man made religion. Not the other way around. Religion is kinda like mans way of justifying what they think their maker wants. That said, no one from any religion has the right to be offended by anyone's opinion of their religion. Its not a race, its not other worldly, its not real, and its certainly not God. I think society itself invents its own interpretation of right from wrong based on how we all want to be treated, which should be a direct reflection of how we treat others. Unfortunately, man made religion, Islam especially has defined these interpretations based not on what "society" would like, but rather what a small unrelated group of nuts believe God wants. At the end of the day, yeah, it's all horse shit.
