In the UK GBP £3100 - about USD $6000 per year for tuition fees only at university. Obviously you've got living expenses on top of that.

I pay £3070/year ($6000 or so) just for tuition. But you get interest free student loans to help you.

Incidentally, if you are pursuing a higher degree in the UK (MSc, PhD etc) then it also costs around GBP £3000 per year for fees, but this is usually funded by one of the government's research councils. I was that man.

    Mine is free...well pretty much.

School is free (so primary and secondary school), university fees and a loan are payed for by a company which I don't have to pay back the uni fees to, so i'd consider that as free. Just they only pay it if your a are Scottish and go to a Scottish uni :D

I would say on average, private collages in my country cost around $1500 a year. Excluding lodging and transportation.

i think the better question for this thread is : how much money are you willing to invest for your education?
please do not mind, this is my opinion.
