Use niche content and you will make more than 5 to 15 bucks a month. The whole deal is the niche content web-site, and google adsense integration. If you master them, you can say bye-bye no-use-web-site , and start saying welcome-revenue-generator-website. Try it, it wont bite
oh my god.... Well i did got 200$ but I didn't really put any effort on the promotion. I am planning on making new sites and work really hard on the promotion. How much websites do you have Pentane?
That's because I've a part-time company working on websites, we're 5 engineering undergraduates working on sites, so you get it... ?
We've doubled our revenue last month by simply switching to a different theme for our default theme. The previous default had the google ads displayed with a border - and a background color that made them stand out a bit. The new theme has no borders - and a white background - as well as the same color links as the theme. To compare themes, visit any page in our web (BetterWindowsSoftware.com) - to switch to the old theme, either pick "blue" from the "Select a style" dropdown (in the header), or follow this link: BetterWindowsSoftware.com's blue theme September: $164 October: $175 November: $197 December: $201 Jan (pro-rated): $423 ($307 already on 22nd of month) There has been a slight bump is our traffic as well, but the eCPM statistic has gone up by a whole $1. Design is only half of the picture -- traffic is the other half; our Alexa ranking has our weekly traffic rank at around 70,000 and it used to be around 130,000.
Really, the data since the theme change is right around $19/day; the first 9 days of the JAN data were with old theme and averaged only around $7/day. I don't think that our site is saturated with ads - nor is it the type of site that purposely tricks you into clicking the ads. Even though some strategic placement and camouflage is allowed by Google, we don't "sell out" the visitors at our site. Are you saying that the daily for a site in the Alexa top 100,000 should be more like $50/day or $200/day?? Is there a "rule of thumb" for this? Depending on the site's niche, what would be a decent eCPM value?
I can't make such "rule of thumb" but probably it's low paying niche, cause traffic is big and earning not so. So yes, depends on niche GREATLY.
Hi, My alexa Rank: 134,912 Earnings: 17 April 2008 - 17 May 2008 = 15 $ How about you? Is alexa rank affect to your earninings?? Harshadewa
Single adsense unit on the page do better than multiple units. also try to keep adsense alone on the site. Don't try to put it up with other networks.
