How much would you purchase advertising on a CPC basis for Webmaster traffic?

    Hi,

I have just come up with a few ideas and was wondering that if you paid for a "featured listing" spot on a webmaster type site, how much would you pay per click or thing is reasonable. Would you think something like $0.30 - $0.40 CPC is a good price?

Also, what about putting advertising in the signature space of a webmaster forums, how much per click would you pay there? Would you pay around $0.10 - $0.15 CPC or would you think that is a good price?

Also, a major majority of the traffic is from the US, GB, AUS, and CA. There will be no geotargetting in place so there will also be a few clicks coming from other countries, which I don't think should be to much of a problem as if they can't read the site they are on, then they most probably will not click on a link that they can't understand anyway.

    Thanks!

If youк traffic is good then those prices are good. However, also it depends on the total number of traffic on the website, and if you have 1-2K of traffic on the website, then you will have customers, if less then you better think about selling spots. Anyways please PM me the offer if you want I am interested.

A lot has to do with the site you are using and what others are bidding. Feel free to try your ideas on Fadoo.

Yeah really depends on the link, if it's on a good site with a High Alexa Rating and Good Google PR then I would be paying for the quality of the link (just for Google Traffic and reputation) - but if I am only buying traffic then I wont pay more than 1cent per visitor - but I am a tight ass.
