i would pay $10k but its probably worth more like $30k, i have 1 site making me $60 a day and wouldent sell it for $10k as my goal is $1k a day from the 1 site.
Erm i wouldn't pay dime apart from hosting and the domain lol. The key to making money with adsense is really simple in concept lol, Unique content and traffic, doing this is where 90%+ people fail
Yes billy786 thanks for the insight. I'm not asking how to build sites I can do that already. I have several sites I am looking to unload and want to know what the community at large thinks they are worth.
I think that i will possibly in the future sell a couple of my sites that i no longer have the interest to keep up, but until then i will let the money come in...lol It is important to update the information just enough to have people come in, but i currently don't visit alot of my sites (except a few) on a regular basis.
I think 10-12 months is pretty good for both parties involved, 24 is too much cause nothing is really guranteed. You can buy a site that has great serps, then two months later you lose the ranking and now your site is making %20 of what it was pulling before. I would never recommend paying more than 10-14 months revenue for any site.
its probably alot different per day when you make so little, my daily income is about the same every day other then saturdays and sundays which is always lower. Also as my site is fairly new and more pages continue to get indexed it seems every monday or so i make more then the previous week , about $5 more and then continues at that pace. today i made $60 and pretty much expect the same everyday except weekends then monday expect more , the point being that a site making $100 a day most likely doesnt make $100 1 day and $20 the next, i could be wrong though
Depending on the quality of the site, it can be from 10 months to up to 3 years revenue. 10 months for a fly by night myspace site or 3 years for a high value niche site (tech, credit cards, etc).
The site itself is not enough. You will also need some periodic work to make sure the site "quality" will not go down. So it is not just the price for site, it is also the price of keeping the site in good shape.
Even though the OP is banned, thought I'd still reply. General a website is worth 10-12x monthly revenue, depending on the site and how its traffic is generated and how consistent the revenue has been. I've sold a website before for over 20x its monthly revenue, but the website had inbound links from authority websites and had been established for awhile and featured in magazines. Ultimately though, the lowest you should ever consider is 10x/monthly revenue.
