    Hello DP'ers

This question is actually for curiosity more than business...

How much would you be willing to pay if you were guaranteed that a video of yours on youtube would get lots of views. Say at least 1000?

The purpose of this question is also to see if there is any difference between what ppl I've talked to offer and what u guys think a good price would be

To be honest over the past 6 months the prices have shot up, i remember last year sometime when i paid for 10,000 views and it cost me about $10, but atm if i really wanted to get my video viewed id pay a max of about $3 per 1000 views.

It would depend on how well targeted the views are and the target of the video. If the views are just general than I wouldn't want to pay more than $10 for 10k like you had unless it was a video with a very general target audience. If the video were a particular genre and I could target it towards that type of user I'd be willing to pay quite a bit. I can't say in terms of numbers at the moment how many $$$ I would fork over but it would certainly be worth more.

    $0.

It's ridiculously easy to get 1,000 views for your video (even 10,000) so there's no excuse what so ever to pay any money for it.
