How much would you pay to get PR info on every page of your site?

    Hi,

I'm interested to know how much people would be willing to pay to be able to have a report generated showing what PR is assign to every webpage on their website ??
Basically if you have a 2000+ page site. Would you pay to get a report showing which pages have PR and the the total number of PR pages you have?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers ....
    Gerald.

    Gerald,

This can be done now with free Web tools. So I would pay nothing at all for it.

It's called fake PR using Google PR redirects in htaccess file. You can Google it to see how it works. Don't be surprised if Google bans your site though if you employ those tactics.

Bearing in mind that any report would probably be generated via a script, I think even if as someone says you can get it for FREE, I would probably pay $1-$2 for the service.

Think of the big picture, pile it high and sell it cheap, never did woolworths any harm!

Hey col i dont get what you mean. If you check your PR on all pages you will get banned?? im a little confused.

I think there was some free tools where you can check your pagerank on every page.

Hmmmm, you either posted this in the wrong thread or you totally misunderstand what I was trying to say :)
I'm not talking about fake PR. I'm talking about producing a report showing the real PR for each page of your website :)

Geraldm it is a good point you have raised as a lot of the 3rd party tools will not gather stats from 2000 pages
    or
I have not seen a site that will do this
Many tools will give you your visual page rank for all your home page for example

Not sure about paying for such a service though as G seems to have their own DC's synchronization problems re PR

So if they have problems how accurate will other monitors be?

Genuine good report you are working on but maybe will need more efficiencies before it can become 100% Functional
    imho

Woops! Sorry. I did misread that. You can easily check PR for every page using www.webmastereyes.com and it works very well if your site has a site index page.

These 3rd party tools do not retrieve PR stats from deep in a site and I believe if I understand correctly that Geraldm is developing a process or a tool to gather the ratings from deep inside a site for like he examples say 2000 Pages

I believe/or have not seen a tool 3rd party or similar that will give the results that Geraldm is referring to

I've used one that does your first 500 pages.

If you could throw in a few other details in the report like broken links, I'm sure there's some things others can suggest too, then you could charge for it. Not too much though. $5 tops I reckon. Though even then I don't know if I'd pay for it if the site is an unknown quantity.

Maybe give the PR report away for free, and upsell the premium product. That it comes as an autogenerated PDF with broken links mentioned and whatever else.

You gotta get people talking about your site first, to spread it via word of mouth, and you won't be able to do that by charging straight up. Give people something that is useful and free and they'll flock.

    Col,

That tool only lists the PR of all links on a single webpage .... it would work if you had (as you said) a sitemap webpage or index webpage listing links to all pages on your site.... But if you didn't it wouldn't work then....

Incorporating the cache date for each page would be a good benefit. I would pay about £3 for it as its a nice tool to have, but for me not a must have.

What do you mean by 'cache date'. Do you mean the date it was last cached in Google?

    I'd pay perhaps a $1 or 2 for a service that>

    a. Runs across a large number of pages (perhaps upto 10k) and multiple domains
    b. I can schedule to run automatically and periodically (weekly / monthly / quarterly)
    c. Will email me these results periodically
    d. Will provide PR from across a range of Data Centres

...that's quite a lot to ask for...if you get it up and running let me know :)

I wouldn't pay anything... I already have the scripts and tools that allow me to have such results in as fast as a few minutes..

I would love to be able to do that but everything is marked and protected by various non disclosure agreements that I am working under.
