How much would you pay to be listed in an average website directory with a with a page rank of 3, good onpage seo and the editor will edit descriptions and titles of submissions where needed? And what else would you look for in a paid directory to make it worth the price you paid for entry?
There is not a 'nothing' option, so I voted less than 3, since 0 is less than 3 I wouldn't pay for a listing, unless it was a featured listing in a very good directory. I own 3 directories myself and all listings are FREE of charge. They can get featured listings for money, but not the regular listings, they are free of charge.
Yes, it depends on the several factors actually. PageRank, TrustRank and most importantly, traffic. But for me, I will check for the keywords it ranked for and make a valuation from there either it is worth for the money to be spent on.
I do all directory submission manually and also submit my website to free directory with unique title and keywords. You can also use visearch and jayde.
I just spent $25 a week ago on a quality directory listing. I'd spend more if I had the extra cash on a lot more directories.
I voted less than three however in actual fact it is $0. This is because directories have less and less of a use than what they used to and I would not waste my money on this for minimal results.
Its the quality of the site as a directory that matters the most when I deciding how much I am gonna pay. Some directory's rank high on google and can bring targeted traffic to site other than the back link you gain.
It depends on how long they will be keep my information on listing. Otherwise, this question is incomplete.
