I'm not sure, any idea of how much it's worth?

 

reading what is now up, if it were consistent then yes i would pay for being involved. I'm sure the perks would be much better and the pricks would be outta here!!

 

If you mean paying for being involved i wouldnt pay more than $5 a month, if its anymore, then i would rather be a part of another forum.

Would pay nothing, I don't believe in paying money for forums, just ain't right. The forums generates enough cash flow, I hope, to support itself and grow at the same time.

 

If i had the money i would probably consider 18 - 24 x monthly revenue.

There's no way I'd pay to use a forum every month when the owner makes alot of money from it anyway from OUR postings.

If your referring to how much I would pay to post on the forum etc, I would probably pay up to $20/month

 

DP forum has a "street" value of $500K...check it out.

 

They made that in one month off google adsense in 2005. The price range I would suspect would be in the $500,000 and up range.

Its worth what people will pay for it, the website imo needs alot of work its really not very good and thats what lags this site behind sitepoint.

If I was to buy this site I would develop the actual website together with the forums, would make this place even more popular and profitiable.

There is so many ways to monetize this place, the owner should let me in as a partner I would make millions.

 

Dont agree with you there, not all forums are successful (in terms of $$). This forum is worth paying for , too many people come here to get free advice. There should be a membership price to pay to be here.

 

That would be taking the key elements of this forums success away, quite a foolish move imo. Monitize sections which will not damage the site as a whole. Its like having a free video site, thats your main reason for traffic, then you charge? Why are people going to come.

Its basic web monitization, find a section of your current site where you could incoporate some sort of service, or product (selling someone elses).

 

DP is priceless!
