How much would you pay for a PR 9 link or PR 9 sub page?

    Hi guys,

I'm curious as to what others here would be willing to pay for a PR 9 link or PR 9 sub page? Is there a standard rates these kind of links go for?

Also how much would you pay for a on theme PR9 link versus a non-theme?

    Thanks!

I don't think it would be wise to buy a PR9 link. Buying high PR links is a great way to draw attention to yourself. That said, I would think a PR9 would probably sell their links for $500-$1000/month? I don't know, hard to say.

    I wouldn't...themed or otherwise.

Too risky that Google already knows about the site and has stopped it from passing PR...just my opinion, but I don't think it is good for anything but the actual traffic it sends you.

If you have PR7 or 8 then go for it. Otherwise you are better buying links from sites with 1 or 2 more PR points than you.

Like the others said - you might draw attention to yourself as a link buyer.

You might want to start off with a smller pr page, though give it a try if you want the risk

I'd pay $1000. I'd jump at the opportunity if there was one in my theme.

It depends on the site and whether or not the site appears to be flagged. It also depends on the number of outbound links.

I used to purchase PR9 links from anywhere from $600 to $1500 a month. The $1500 PR9 link was able to move one of my sites to PR8 (along with some other PR7 inbound links) so it justified the cost (since I was using the site just for link sales).

This was back in the day though--about 2 years ago--so I'd guess prices should be LOWER now that the search engines are tougher on purchased links

hi guys, sorry to jump into the thread here ... but how do search engines know if it's purchased. I have my site linked on other sites with rank 5 more then mine (mine 2 their 7) .. but that's because I knot the actual people running them.

Does this mean that I will get penalised for knowing the 'popular kids' ?

No, you won't be penalized for that definitely, but the links may be devalued if it is too obvious for the engines (Google) to trace the purchase.

If google sees a bunch of external links in the footer if a page then its obvious they are unnatural. Google probably doesn't care whether money has changed hands but it may devalue them for being unnatural.

spending 1500$ for a link every month !! I think that is insane ! Why?, the whole income from our website would only be around that amount !! Also, if you have so much money to spare you could always contact a SEO expert and optimize your pages once and for ever !!

    Hi,

Unless your site is really high PR too, I think the risks would definitely outweigh the costs on this one.

    I'd steer clear.

    Mike.
