Hello, I'm curious as to what would be a good price to charge for links (per month or year) on a site with the following info: - blog hosted on my own domain, uses WordPress Software - home page is PR 2, some internal pages have PR 1 or PR 2 - traffic is very small , usually between 5 and 15 hits per day - over 400 posts and over 750 pages indexed in Google - links would be added in sitewide in a links section Thanks for your input.
Depends on the quality of the content of the site, the potential for traffic and your future commitment to grow the site, but no more than $1pm / $10pa
To be honest, not too much. Try building traffic to at least 1000+. What you might want to do is put a price up on your site and see if anyone takes it, if not then lower it. Saying that though, maybe $5 - 10 for the year might work at the moment.
Thanks for the responses. Gr8t, you asked about the length, update frequency, and niche. It is a parenting blog that has been online for a year and a half. It's been updated only a few times a week for the last month, but prior to that, I had a very busy time in which there were several entries per day from Nov - Feb because I was doing a lot of writing for blog advertising companies. Thanks again.
Try to increase your PageRank first. You have to build your backlink to gain a good PR. I think free directory submission can be one solution for you. That will increase your visitor too If you got PR4 or + then you can charge $10+ per month
I'd turn the site into a mini-directory, get your PR up a tonne, then convert it into a high quality content based site. Then you can start making some decent money.
