Hi, I may soon be offering direct advertising on one of my sites to cut out the middle man. How much would you charge for advertising on a webmaster / affiliate type of site. I was planning to either charge on a CPC or CPM basis. If it is CPC I would like to have the advertisers bid up on each other to get more exposure where I would start them with $0.05 per click and the CPC will end up getting me around $0.30 - $0.50 minimum when they bid against each other. Do you think that this is archive able from this type of traffic? If not what do you think the going rate would be? With CPM banner ads I was thinking of charging a minimum of $1 CPM to start of with and hopefully advertisers will bid each other up so I end up getting an average of $5 CPM or more. Nearly forgot to mention that this is good quality traffic.
