At the moment I am developing a site which is going to draw in anywhere from 4,000-10,000 unique visitors daily. Now I am wondering which road I should go on for advertising. Say instead of using the normal adbrite or adsense I sold the 468x60 ad block monthly. Maybe 1-2 banners in rotation at all times. How much would you buy this ad block for?
I'd see how much I could make from Adbrite for one month, and then premium price that amount by 10-25% for a BIN to sell the space to someone else. If you can get a buyer, great, you've earned more than you would've with Adbrite, if you can't, then at least you're still making just a little less with Adbrite.
