I would say around 5-8 million because of the advertising and marketing capabilities since there are so many webmasters on the website.

 

You can't buy DigitalPoint for 5-8million. You need alot more then that. Understand that the domain alone is worth $11million...what makes you think you can buy the community for less? Google won't buy digitalpoint...They don't have any reason too...The only way google might want to buy DP is if they come up with a unique idea or if it is competing against google.

I don't think it is worth more than $100,000.
Besides there are 1000s of webmaster forums out there and it is only a matter of time before digitalpoint fades away and some other sites take over.

 

As much as I love DP the site is only worth as much as someone will pay for it and not a penny more.

 

with 100 000 $ you can pay 10 good internet marketers to post extremely good and free information on a forum and in less than 6 months i would say it will be much bigger than dp.

Assuming the original 10k a month figure is correct, its worth a fair bit more than $100k. This forum has a huge userbase, which isnt relying on a google algorithm to hold its earning levels. I've seen adsense-earning content sites go for more than 10months earnings, and they are relying on SE traffic that could die with any slight algorythm change. There is no reason for the forum to fade away, as long as it continues to be run and managed well it isnt going anywhere. Obviously everyones opinion is different, but if it were me buying it I wouldnt go over $250k.
