    Hi -
    I hope someone could help..
Someone is asking me to buy one of my domains, it's an established article site, .com domain, PR4, Alexa Traffic Rank: 220,672. I get about $250 per months from adsense ads on it. What is a fair price for such domain?

    Thank you.
    GM

But why sell such a good earner?

In any case this is I would do to come up with a fair figure:

Work out how much money you would have to put into a saving account in order to give $250 a month?

The general market would pay around 10 x revenue, so you around $2,500 would be a good start.

A multiple of earnings is a good start.
I also carry out a sanity check using http://www.mydnstats.com
If they show value is way off, I would be very cautious paying for any domain or site.

I don't know how to give a market price. Just wanted to give an advice, be aware of scammer!

I received an email before regarding purchase of my domain and the person did reply me after I asked the price. The price was pretty good to me BUT I got suspicious and did some research on the "company". It was then found out that they are just scammers.

Good luck for selling your domain in a good price! :)

$250 a month is a good income and you can sell it for $2000 - $5000.

I agree with hazel... you might want to make sure that the buyer is legit before even naming the price.

If you need the money, sell it. Otherwise if you dont need the money, just keep it. Who knows you might find some use for the domain name.

I wouldn't sell it. You have a pretty good PR, and a nice revenue from it. I'd rather work on increasing the profit from it. But if you really need money - as it was stated, 10 times the income. Or go to flippa and see how much your site is worth.

better not more than 12 x revenue per month. some people prefer 24 x revenue also if it has affiliate marketing content and some registered users for it
