How much would a link like this be worth...

There isn't really a place for link price appraisals, so someone suggested this might be the best forum for the question.

I had asked in in GC, but since a) I didn't really get a meaningful answer, and b) probably most actual business minded peeps don't read GC, I figured I'd take a shot here.

What would you say the market value of a permanent PR6 link from Microsoft.com would be worth? Less that 60 total links on the page, including navigation, etc.

    Any clues?

    Thanks.

Different things should be taken into consideration.

    Where the link is placed
    Traffic
What do you want from this link

    Ignore traffic. How much?

Look at it this way. In your sig you have a site advertising that it is offering one way links. Pretend you are selling a one way link from a PR6 page on Microsoft... what would you charge?

This is just a stab, but I'd say between $45 and $70, from what I've seen as the going rate. There are some other variables to consider, such as location on the page, how many other links on the page, etc.

Really? For a link from permanent link from Microsoft.com? That's what you would sell it for?

I know a PR7 Link from Google.com costs $1,995 (used to be PR8), and that one has 202 links on it, making it worth much less, I would think...

it's a pr 6 backlink from a trusted web site.

it will help you to boost your page rank and serp but i can not give a $$$$ range for that
