How much would a 3 letter domain be worth?

    I didnt feel right posting it in the BST, since I'm not buying/selling.

    What would a name like A5B.org be worth? How do you determine the worth of a 3-letter domain?

    a5b.org would be worth reg fee... unless a 5 b was short for something...

    remember.. the domain is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.. it'd be worth 0 to me... but someone who runs a company like "alpha 5 bricks" might be interested in it, ya know

    first, there is a difference between 3character domains and 3 letters domains

    characters = numbers+ letters

    follow this site http://3character.com/priceguide.html and i have found it fairly accurate.

    .org not much really unless the .com of domain is well established with lot of traffic, if there is no revenue then no one really feels to buy the domain unless you have an organisation with those 3 letters.

    IMHO, the only LLL worth acquiring at this point are .com, .net, .mobi, .org, and .info. I wouldn't consider putting down much for other extensions.

    First and formost, let me inform you that a domain name should make sence to people as it represents your type of website. If it makes no sense to people, then whats is the use of such a name. Also, in my opinion, .com is much better than .org

    the letter .coms domains go for around 3k if they are all letters. If other characters are mixed in, their value dimishes

    I've seen this around the forum alot...

    People! NUMBERS are NOT LETTERS.

    You have a 3 CHARACTER domain.

    I have always been in diaagreement with the 3 character guide.
    It gives a good base line for the worst of the best but there are far more sales that dont get posted than do.
    Watch the sales on the forums to get a good idea
